Get out of the vicious cycle of the sins before it consumes. Treat others the way you want to be treated - Don't think that you are doing good by serving bad Karma to someone's life. One doesn't serve Karma, Karma sends itself to those who deserve it. They say that positivity out = positivity in. This also applies to the people around you - Negative energy attracts negative people, positive energy attracts positive people.
I should add to my resolution this year to stop being so cynical about these self-development method. It doesn't hurt to try - and at least it takes the mind off mooching around negative thoughts and feelings (And also whining to everyone else like an asshole. Nobody likes to listen to a whiner) No seriously, nobody can help if I don't help myself. Sometimes a girl's got to save her own ass.
